I got the engine code P1382 on my 1999 Honda Civic DX 1.6L, I still have the code after I put brand new distributor and water pump kit

P1382 No signal in the Cylinder position (CYP) sensor circuit

The CYP is built into the distributor, The best solution is to subsitute a known working ECM
