P1258 Honda -crv

i have a honda crv 2003, it has p1258 code with a check engine goes back and forward, the mechanic replaced the sensor in front and did oil flush but still have the same issue,can you help me please?

The biggest problem is dirty low clogges the small oil passages thus causing this problem. 

what sensor was replaced? there are a lot of small sensors in the VTEC assmebly (see picture below)

are you using the correct oil weight? 5W20 

if the oil level is good and you are using the correct oil weight, and you have replaced it within the last 3700 miles you may have to replace the VTEC spool valve assembly (see picture below) the whole VTEC control on the left hand side may need to be replaced.

Possible causes:

- Engine oil level low
- Low engine oil pressure
- Blocked oil passage
- Faulty VCT oil control valve
