P1121 Acura - How do I determine what exactly caused the check engine light to go on?

I checked the code online and it gives me 3 possible causes:

  • Faulty Throttle Position Sensor
  • Throttle Position Sensor harness is open or shorted
  • Throttle Position Sensor circuit poor electrical connection

How do I get the right one?

Vehicle: 2005 Acura RSX 2.0L
