2008 Kia sport age has a po111 is this an easy fix or a mechanic?

Po111 code air intake temperature sensor for a 2008 Kia sportage. Is this an easy fix or should I take it to a machanic?

was it below -4 degree when the code came on? if so just reset the code

you can also check to see if the air filter is clean. 

the intake air temperature sensor is build into the mass air flow sensor you can also try to clean it with mass air flow sensor cleaner, it might just be dirty.

possible causes:

- Faulty Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor
- Dirty air filter
- Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor harness is open or shorted
- Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor circuit poor electrical connection
