P0710 Nissan - versa

my service engine soon light came on as soon as i started the car 1 day ago. Nissan Versa 2009, I went to autozone & pulled code P0710 ATF temp sensor circuit. possible cause open or short circuit condition & or failed ATF emp sensor.

My question is, is the car drivable for awhile untill I can get it fixed..and when i do take it in, what is the approxamet cost to repair? Thanks!
