I just replaced the battery and the first time I started it after the new battery was installed, I got this U0100 code. Also when I put it in reverse, the car tries to lunge backwards twice before settling down.
Should I just clear the code or have I screwed up the PCM by disconnecting the battery?

U0100 Lost communication with ECM "A"

When you get this code check the battery connection especailly the ground terminal. The next check is the PCM fuse in the engine fuse box fuse F 13 which is a 7.5 amp. U0100 effect transmission shifting,
