Will it hurt to drive my 2011 Chevrolet Cruze Turbo 100 miles with the code p0299 present?

went to reno elevation is 5000 above sea level and thats when the check engine light came on wil hurt it to drive home to auburn ca about 100 miles

When P0299 and the CK ENG LT is on the ECM will disable and limit the boost, you will have decreased engine power, And yes you can drive this home, at this distance, Some of the causes for under boost are charge air cooler leaks , airflow restriction, Which can be easily check and secured.
