P043e code Pontiac Vibe 2006- can I drive it?

P043e code came up for my Pontiac Vibe. Unfortunately, my mechanic is closed for the holidays until Jan 8. I drive about 240 miles a week to work. Should I take the car to a different mechanic or can I drive with this code until Jan 8.

P043E Evaporative emission (EVAP) system reference orfice flow insufficient

You can wait , what you are harming is the atmosphere, and allowing gasoline emission into  the atmosphere, in a form of hydrocarbons. The decision is up to you.
