2010 Nissan Patrol 4.6L with code U1000, what is the meaning of the code?

We don't have Nissan Patrol here is in US. But many of the Nissan cars that have the U1000 the first thing to do is loosen all the ground connecters clean them with sandpaper on the connector and body and retighten the bolts back 

There will be a few by the engine bay and will look like this loosen all the ground connecters clean them with sandpaper on the connector and body and retighten the bolts back 

There will also be some under the steering wheel or glove box, I don't have pictures of the model, or I would post the locations.

You can also add a grounding kit to help the factory grounds since the factory grounds are thin and can lose connecting since you can rust and or have corrosion.
