P0340 2003 Chevrolet Trail Blazer -

Hi i have a code P0340 and i have replaced the camshaft sensor and reset the computer and after driving it twice for 30 minutes each time the engine light is back on.What else could cause this problem.

P0340 CMP camshaft postion sensor circuit low

P0172 Fuel trim too rich bank 1

P0340 can also be due to the CMP actuator , For now what is required for the repair is to test for proper power When P0340 codes up there is only 3 reason for this ,The 12 volt refernce is too low, the low refernce is too low,the CMP postion signal is not proper from a mecanical condition or the power to the sensor are not proper.With Key on engine off the 12 volt circuit must show battery voltage, The pnk/blk wire must show at least 3.5 volts.
