Question

After spin out on black ice and soft landing in shoulder, vigorous attempt to reverse brought on CHECK ENGINE light which continued until error code P0700 was read and indicator light extinguished.

When this code appear it only a informative code that there is a fault in the transmission, When codes are gather its either rational or logic or irrational, Because the transmission was in in reverse without no succes  the ECM belived there was a fault in the transmission , clear the code if it does not appear again there is no problem with the transmission.
