On my 1999 Ford Taurus Wagon SE, fuel is coming out of emission canister, what could be the problem?

Hi there,

This would indicate that the purge control solenoid is not working properly. It's job is to open when you are running at certain speeds and pull the fuel vapors out of the canister. If the canister is so full of vapors that there is fuel running out of it, then the solenoid is not doing it's job.
