Replaced both governor pressure sensor and solenoid.
Only moderate shavings in the pan.
Trans shift great with no issues, until P1757 code returns, then auto shifting issues return.

What is the next logical step?

P1757 Govenor pressure above 3psi in gear with 0 MPH

Clear the code and retest this time drive the vehicle , and drive between 25 to 30 MPH, if this code comes back at this speed, this is more than likely a internal transmission problem.

Thanks for your reply.
However, the code re-appears totally at random.
No speed designation, or time duration has changed it so far.
It simply comes on (whenever)
After replacing the sensor and solenoid, it worked fine for days/250 miles.
I cleared the code and proceeded, some hwy, some surface streets at various speed. No check engine light/no code! ???
