P0175 Chevrolet 1999 pick up-

Question

I have 1999 Chevy 2500 pick up that I am getting a P0175 code on. Our muffler has a couple of small holes in it that we are getting repaired today. We are getting some back fire as well. Can you give me any other areas that I should check. We are planning a long trip and I want to get this fixed before traveling. If you need my email address it is [email protected]. Hi there,

This code is for a rich fuel mixture on bank 2. It's possible with the backfiring that you have a cylinder that is putting to much fuel into the system. This could be caused by a bad fuel injector, a misfire or an issue with the front O2 sensor on bank 2.
