What codes can show up with the trac off light and i have a po420

the trac light trys to come on and my car starts bucking, and it dies when i step on the gas to fast please help me.

HI there,

The P0420 code is for a bad catalytic converter. This could be the problem with the way the car is running. If it's broken or plugging up then the engine will buck and have very little power. The traction control may be defaulting due to the check engine light coming on. You need to have the converter taken care of first to try and resolve the problem.
