P0031 TOYOTA - FOR CAMRY 2007

Question

I have a 2007 Toyota Camry  LE. a week ago the engine lignt on.

1)I chack the gas pump lock until one click  and light on

2) the three day  I feal gas  and lock properly but the engine light on

beside the P0031 what can be possable cause or I can try ?

Hi there,

This code is not related to the fuel cap. This code is for the heated O2 sensor, bank 1 sensor 1. The heater for the sensor has stopped working. In most cases a new sensor will resolve the issue. This is the first sensor in the exhaust system, typically mounted in the exhaust manifold if this is the 4 cylinder model, if it's a 6 then it's the first one on the rear exhaust manifold or the bank closest to the firewall.
