P1523 Chevrolet -

Question

truck will not start and has codes p1523 and p1516, replaced fuel pump already and sometimes has spark some times does not.any ideas? Thanks. jorella

P1523 ETC (eletronic throttle control) system malfunction - throttle valve stuck

P1516 Throttle actuator control module throttle actuator position performance

These two trouble code will not give a no start, P1523 is a system malfunction when this code up it is accompanied by a descriptive code  which is what you have, P1516 the throttle actuator position perfomance code, If you have intermittent spark that has to be trouble shooted first, The crank position sensor is what you want to look at . It also a good idea to check fuses in the engine fuse box.
