I have a 2011 f250 6.7 liter diesel. My check engin light is on. I took it to a mechanic shop and they did a computer diagnosis. It thew a code of P208A. What does this mean and how do I fix it?

P208A is for the reductant (DEF) pump. It is control circuit open load. Inspect the wiring first, most likely it is the pump, especially when you have P208B, or P208C codes with it. DEF fluid is highly corrosive and the pumps are plastic. Very common for the pumps to go out.

P208A how did you get this code? There is a P20BA which is reductant heater "A" control heater performance This code you get when you perform a engine running self test.If this is the code you got, The vehicle is probably operating in a derate mode, and there is a loss of power,You need to check for a damage reductant tank heater.or replace the tank heater.
