Will a burnt out gauge bulb cause the P0650 code to pop up on a Silverado?

P0650 malfunction indicator lamp , (MIL) control circuit

What this is , is a case when the MIL is in nonoperational and does not light  up to inform the driver that a problem exist, A burnt out gauge buld, has no effect on the MIL operation  but a burnt out MIL buld will and cause P0650
