Will this cause a no-start on a 2005 6 liter diesel?????

Vehicle: 2005 Ford F-450 with 6 liter

P0198 Engine oil temperature sensor

No this will not cause a no start . what happens is the PCM ignores the EOT temperature and subsitute a engine oil temperature for starting and running.
