P0335 Crankshaft position sensor circuit

The crankshaft position sensor is a pulse generator it produces its own signal, So it is important to have a proper air gap from 0.2 mm to 0.4mm. The best way to test this sensor is with a multi meter using the AC scale. with the engine cranking the voltage should be a a minimum of 100mV AC. You can also do a OHMS test the CKP resistance should be 360 ohms to 460 ohms If it is less than 1M  ohm you need to replace the CKP sensor. What can also code up P0335 is a broken timing belt so you need to look for that.
