can P1406 code cause other codes too ??

96 chevy c2500, can this cause the o2 sensors to show codes p0141 & p0161 ?

Vehicle: 1996 Chevrolet c2500 5.7

It's possible. If the EGR valve is not working properly it could cause and improper reading from the O2 sensor, which could cause the P0141 and P0161 codes. I recommend fixing the EGR problem first.
