Code p0115 comes on my x5 2001.car will not idle for too long

HI there,

This code is for the engine coolant temp sensor. If it's not working properly, then the engine will have issues trying to idle. This helps control the fuel mixture and the computer may be adding to much fuel which would cause it to run rich and flood out. the most common repair would be to replace the coolant temp sensor.
