Truck stalled..engine light on. My code reader says crank and cam position sensor Bank 1 Sensor B Are camshaft AND crankshaft two different sensors? Both came up on same code P0017 2005 chev Colorado 2.8L

Yes both different sensors. The code means that one or both of the sensors are not working properly. Sometimes the problem is just dirty oil. You should start by changing the engine oil and filter, and clearing the code. Make sure you use the factory recommend oil.
