my car was shaking but then it stopped but the check eng light came on. auto zone said the code was transmission p0726. what does the code mean?

Basically this code means there is a communication error between the ecm and the tcm on the network. This can be an issue with the wiring harness or a problem with the ecm;. It there are no other codes with this code, then the wiring must be checked.
