the check engine light came on and codeP013 came up AND WE CAN'T FIND OUT WHAT IT MEANS

P013 you are missing one more number or letter  Here is what it can be

 P013A  02 sensor slow response bank 1 sensor 2

P013C  02 sensor slow response bank 2 sensor 2

P013E   sensor delay response bank 1 sensor 2

This can be catalytic  convertor  here is how it works , The PCM monitor how quickly the rear 02 sensor switches from lean to rich , the measured rate is measured to a calibrated rate , you code up P013?  when the measure value is slower than the threshold value. . 02 sensor do degrade and they respond  slowly and can be the culprit..
