P0717 FORD -

Question

I have 07 Ford Edge, Code PO717, after put on computer, car did not want to take off after stopping at light, like in was in neutral. After cutting off and on, it drives fine, and reset.
Per a mechanic, could this be only a sensor or TRANSMISSION..what determines the difference?

P0717 Insufficient input from TSS (Turbine  speed sensor)

You mainly have a TSS problem,You dont have to rebuilt just to get to it, You remove the side cover and the the main valve body to access the sensor.
