So, I'm getting two codes on my 2000 Jaguar S-Type 3 they are P0340 & P0341 what's wrong with it?

Vehicle: 2000 Jaguar S-Type 3.0L

P0340 Camshaft position sensor circuit malfunction

P0341 Camshaft position sensor range

This type of sensor is a pulse generator, which means it creates its own voltage and sends it to the ECM to inform where the number 1 cylinder is located, it is only used for start-up, With 2 codes pointing to the camshaft sensor, more than likely you will need a new one.
