I change the egr and the rpms went high what can I do to fix it

P0402 EGR Flow excessive

The EGR is open this is causing the high RPM disconnect the vacuum hose on it,If the RPM goes down you need the correct vacuum route,if the RPM doesnt go down, check for vacuum leak at the EGR gasket.
