and the transmission but am still getting a p0720 code... what can be causing this?

Vehicle: 2001 hyundai sonata 2.4 4 cylinder

P0720 Malfunction of the output speed sensor, Is this the only code you are getting? Are ther any onther codes with it, the reason I ask is that there are many TSB about you transmission,but these are multiple transmission codes, Here is a list of what causes the output sensor to code up, P0720 per Hyundai,Malfunction of the speed sensor, malfunction of the transfer drive gear,malfunction of the connector, malfunction of the TCM, On you transmission make sure the negative ground is absolutely secured, The TCM/ECM uses this to control the solenoids,Bad connection or TCM and even a bad output sensor

p0720 nis the only code that comes changed transmission and put new sensors in it also...and i'm still getting the 720 code and thats the only code coming up and the speedometer works perfect
