Two Codes coming up, P1174, P1171. symptoms: Car has slight hesitation and misses intermittently.

Answer: P1174,P1171, Do you have noise at the front timing cover? If the cam and rotor sense was truly at fault you should have a constant misfire on the number on cylinder,The code you are recieving is a rational code,Look for engine vacuum leaks especially at the MAF,and the intake, the fuel pressure should also be check.at idle it should be at 35psi to 41 psi

Your question was:

Tried suggested answer.
No noise in front timing cover. No constant misfire. No vacuum leaks at MAF or intake.
Fuel Pressure is high, 50-51 psi.

On a Volvo VXC70 2.5  P1171 System too lean bank 1 part throttle.  P1174 System too lean  full throttle, MAF can cause this ,you should have a MAP sensor Volvo terms this as boost sensor, inspect to see if it has a MAP sensor, because you have a turbo you have this sensor. it on the front on the air duct.
