My car stalls when the VDC OFF lights come on, what can be the problem.

I have a nissan quest 04. The service engine soon lights came on and so did the VDC OFF light as well. My car stalls to drive when the VDC OFF lights come on. I was told that the cam shaft postion sensor might need replacement. Is this true and what is the code for the sensors. Thank you

This is very true. It can also happen when the crank sensor fails. The check engine light causes the vdc light and slip light to come on. The codes for the cam sensors are P0340 and P0345. The cam sensor code is P0335.
