When you get a P0463 your problem is at the fuel level circuit,here are some of the causes,the fuel is truly empty,and the gauge goes to empty, Now if you are not at empty and the fuel light is not on,and this code once cleared and comes back, You check for high circuit input,in other words something is disconnected, The ECM uses the fuel level from the data in the instrument cluster to determine EVAP emission and misfire data.The solution resides in a proper working fuel sending unit, and fuel gauge that is properly working, The guauge is where the ECM gets the information,
