my 2001 nissan pathfinder is throwing a p0455 code replaced gas cap no change i was told it could be egr vacuum soliniod i have vacuum comeing from intake but not out of soliniod could it be shot

If the gas cap is OK you should check the EVAP canister. The code means that there is a very large vacuum leak, you could have the EVAP canister broken or a hose disconnected.
