How do I fix the engine codes P0131 and P0137 on my 1999 Buick Century?

HI there,

This code refers to the bank 1 O2 sensor. If the engine is a 4 cyl, then this is the first sensor BEFORE the converter. If it's a 6, then it's the sensor on bank 1 BEFORE the converter. This code is usually the result of a bad O2 sensor, but can also be caused by wiring problems to the sensor itself.
