2000 Nissan Quest with engine code P0340

Question

I change the new distributor assembly because I got the code P0340 but still did not start. there is no electricity coming out in the spark plug wire. What is the cause of the problem? One more question? if the code is p1105 the engine will start.

Usually, the MAP sensor problem (Code P1005) will not cause a no-start problem.

After you replaced the sensor do you still get the P0340 code? if you don't then it's possible that you didn't properly install the distributor and the timing is way off.

i put it in a properly.. no more code but no current going out at the spark plug wire..
