No problems while driving it, just turned the service engine soon light on so I took it my local service center & got the generic P0448 code, evaproative emission system vent control circuit shorted. What do I need to do to fix this? Do I need to replace parts? Or is it simply a clean up job? I've seen the pdf for the altima & pathfinder, but nothing for the titans. Is it the same procedure for the titans? I do not trust my local nissan techs so if this is something I can do at home, I would be all for that! Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The most common cause is the vent control valve itself. You can use the same general repair info from the manuals you have, typically the valve itself rusts up inside and creates a shorted circuit.
