SHOULD I BE CONCERNED ON HOW LONG BEFORE I GET IT FIXED?????????

You can wait for as much as you want, but there is always a risk for the throttle body to fail and if fails you G will go in fail safe. If fail safe mode you wont be able to accelerate. Before you replace the throttle body, try cleaning the the throttle plate and performing the idle relearn procedure.
