2005 Ford Focus- P0190

Question

2005 Ford Focus- I am experiencing a hard start and sporadic issues with lost power. The SES light also came on and is pulling a P0190. I am also hearing a squealing noise coming from what appears to be the tank. I tried to figure this out for a while and finally took it to have it looked at. was told I needed a new FRPS. I questioned this as when I already checked the sensor. There is no sign of gas at the vacuum and the sensor itself (if I used the tester correctly) is within spec. Based on what seeing here, a possible cause for all of these issues is a bad fuel pump correct?
