Discuss the causes and fixes for P2797 Chevrolet OBDII Code
-
I changed my transmission filter and replaced all the tranny fluids. Mainly because I've got 275000km and want the transmission to last a long time and I thought transmission fluid was getting hot on long trips. The transmission auxiliary pump is in the way to drop the pan so I remove it and tie it off to the side. Put everything back and I add Teflon paste to the bolts to prevent fluid from dripping from the bolts. But now I've got the code p2797. Everything worked good before and not so much now.
