D2584 code is showing on my Mazda3 i.6 diesel and what is Fuel Additive tank or sensor referred to?
-
Regrets, the 'D' should have been a 'P'. The car is 2010. I have done some more research on both P2584 (Fuel Additive Tank) and P002 (DPF) as both are shown. I am trying to source eolys fluid for to refill the tank. The Engine Management Light is on at present. I probably will get the PAT fluid as advertised by CDTi. as it seems difficult to source otherwise.I have not been able to access the capacity of the Mazda eolys tank.

I check all the service manuals for the 2010 Mazda 3i I have, and unfortunately, I couldn't find any information for those codes.
I suggest trying with a different OBDII scanner, it's possible that the scanner is not compatible with your vehicle. -
Thanks. The codes make sense. I have an empty eolys fluid container Code P2584 and a partially blocked DPF Code P2002.

Hi!
I have a Mazda 3, 1.6 diesel , 2005, with error code P2584, and check engine light on board. I have refilled the fuel additive tank with 1 liter of additive . I have cleared the error code with Torque application. The engine light turned off but after restart the engine reappeared. If you have any suggestion please let me know .
