Code P208B Ford Description
When the vehicle is shut down, PCM closes injector and actuates reductant purge valve, causing the pump to reverse flow and bleed down pressure on reductant pressure line. The PCM then opens injector to allow gas to enter reductant pressure line, which in turn allows the pump to purge all remaining DEF from the system and return it to reductant tank. The PCM closes injector and returns purge valve to forward position. The PCM commands glow plug control module to provide voltage to reductant pump assembly internal heating element when reductant temperature approaches 12°F (-11°C).

This code has come in the last 3000 miles . It only comes in when you drive 200 - 300 miles and stop to fuel or eat. When you resume driving after several miles Engine Trouble light comes on . If you continue driving fuel mileage drops and performance drops. When I take F 350 truck in every checks out normal. Went on a 1850 mile trip, ENGINE light came on at about 400 miles after stopping. Cleared code and engine ran fine Until next stop when we resumed light came on again. 700 miles from home. Cleared code. If you stop and don't Resume until engine cools down light doesn't come on. On way Home light came on after next fuel stop. A new code came on P20E8. Took truck in and every checked normal. Filled DEF tank before trip. Drove 2500 miles averaged less than 12 MPG pulling 31 ft. fifth wheel camper. Deft tank stills reads full.
