Code P2068 Chrysler Description

In normal operation the level data from the two sending units are averaged. As stated the fuel level equalizes when the tank is relatively full. After the level drops to a point where the equalization of fuel is not likely, the right side fuel level drops to empty as auxiliary pump continues the transfer of fuel to the left side. At this point the logic looks at the level of both sending units. If the right side indicates empty and the left indicates a nominal amount, the right side is basically ignored. If everything is correct, when the gauge is below 1/3 of a tank, this should be what is actually in the left or primary side of the tank. If you were to round a corner quickly and send some of the fuel across to the right side, the right fuel level sender would rise and the left would drop. The CCN would indicate an unchanged condition, because the right side is no longer empty, and the CCN will average the two. Note: If you have access to a high line vehicle with Dot matrix EVIC and steering wheel controls, you can look at this data while driving. Use Caution to Keep Your Eyes on the Road. By pressing and holding the Music and Compass buttons simultaneously for 8 to 10 seconds you can access the raw fuel gauge data. Use the Up/Down Arrows to scroll through the data. Diagnosis If a condition occurred, where the right sending unit did not drop, but the left one did, the CCN would average the two. This could be caused by a problem with either the transfer of fuel or a malfunction of the sending unit. When these conditions occur there is a possibility that a vehicle could run out of fuel even though the gauge indicates a sufficient fuel supply. Because the right level sender is not at empty the CCN is averaging and displaying the average. Since fuel is picked up and sent from the left pump, the pump could run dry with fuel still showing on the gauge. Any diagnosis of a vehicle running out of fuel with sufficient fuel indicated on the gauge, should include verification of which sending unit is providing the level information. If fuel is indicated on the right side but not the left, either the sending unit is providing erroneous data or the transfer (scavenger) pump is not working. If the right side of the tank does contain fuel, and the left does not, it's likely the scavenger pump is not working. This can be caused by: * nozzle plugged with debris *Disconnected, pinched or blocked in-tank lines. Additional Manual Diagnostic aidsIf this LX has steering wheel switches (and therefore a reconfigurable display in the CCN), then you can enter "Engineering Mode" by holding down both the compass/tempreature and music note buttons simultaneously until the display between the tach and speedometer switches to the Engineering mode. This takes about 5-6 seconds with the ignition in the run position. Once in "Engineering Mode" you can use the up and down arrows to arrive at a screen that shows both left and right fuel tank sending unit actual readings.

I have a chrysler 300 2006 3.5 v6 I have 2 codes after replacing primary fuel pump and sending unit new relays and fuses and crank shaft sensor codes are p0463 and p2068 have no clue

Any other symptoms? did you use new parts? The system is very simple and there is no other component that can affect the signal, other than the fuel sender unit and the cluster. My only guess is that the wires of the fuel sender unit were not properly connected during the fuel pump installation.

I checked the pigtail that connects to pump and it has power the fuel pump is still not coming on my fuel pump was going out went to store came back out it would crank but would not fire so went ahead and changed pump but same result crank but no fire

If you notice both codes are for "Circuit High" that means that the problem is not the power but the ground to the sensors and fuel pump.

Since you have the code of the fuel sensor unit and the fuel pump is not working, then the problem is either no bad fuel, power to the pump (and sender unit) or poor ground. Since you have already replaced the fuel pump and there is power to the fuel pump connector, then the next step is to check for ground to the connection
Disconnect the fuel pump connector and check continuity between the BK/OR (Black-Orange) wire and body ground (any metal part of the vehicle body). Continuity should exist.
Also, please make sure to double check if there is battery voltage at the DB/OR (Dark Blue-Orange) wire.

Disregaurd last statement I don't think anyone knows what they are doing here in indiana cut throat mechanics anyways a friend of mine is a mechanic and he said you all go through a trouble tree to find problem well I know for a fact I have spark my brother sprayed something into the throttle body and car started and ran on its own until it burned off what he sprayed into it so what's next

Well from what I understand I put the pump in wrong not sure yet have one of my brothers that's a mechanic finally come over to see what the problem is let you know what is wrong and if I did it

Probably not, if it goes to the PCV valve then is just a breather. Usually connects to the air filter box.

So I have a 2005 Chrysler 300. Originally it needed a key made for it... I got a new key and had it flashed to my car . It won't run... I have power coming out of the ignition switch but no power going into the starter on the the remote wire side. I can hook a remote starter up to it the starter and it will turn over but it runs for about a second and shuts off. I put my code reader up to it and it came back with a 2068 code and it says fuel level sensor B circuit high. I have checked all fuses in both fuse boxes and they are all good. Please help

The P2068 code is for the Fuel Level Sensor, which could cause a no start problem, but the engine should crank. If the engine is not cranking, then the problem is not related to the Fuel Level Sensor.
My guess is that the new key was not properly programmed to your vehicle.
