Just got my intake manifold solenoid valve changed now my 08 ford fusion 4 cylinder jerks when switching gears! Why?

The intake manifold solenoid valve has nothing to do on how the transmission shift. Check any other component disconnected during the valve installation and check the transmission fluid level and condition.
