This DTC illuminates a warning lamp in order to bring to attention that software on a side is not correctly rewritten when it is required to rewrite software of the battery condition monitor module, motor control module (traction) and motor control module (generator). Each control module sends and receives program version information via internal serial communication and EPP-CAN communication to compare each other's version information and detects a malfunction and stores a DTC when the version information of the battery condition monitor module is outdated.
