Code P1D7B Acura Description

The motor power inverter (MPI) module (traction/generator) and the voltage control unit (VCU) are cooled by the motor control module (traction) which operates the electric motor control module coolant pump monitoring the coolant temperature and the temperature of various components and sends a request for operation of the radiator fan to the Powertrain Control Module (PCM). The motor control module (traction) monitors the reactor temperature in the VCU and detects a malfunction and stores a DTC when reactor temperature is equal to or more than the prescribed value continuously for the prescribed time.
