The controller area network (CAN) transmits/receives pulsing signals to/from the control modules simultaneously by using two signal lines (EPP-CAN_H and EPP-CAN_L). When the processor of the battery condition monitor module receive the information about the A/C compressor high voltage connector no disconnected from the A/C compressor via the EPP-CAN lines for a set time, a malfunction is detected and a DTC is stored.
