Code P1CC8 Dodge Description

This diagnostic detects if the power supply to Main Micro Processor (MMP) is too low with three different tests relative to different vehicle operating conditions. The MMP power supply is tested outside the engine cranking mode (because in this condition a brief reduction of power supply may be possible). The first check: the Transmission Controller Module (TCM) compares the MMP power supply with minimum threshold values. When the actual value of power supply is below its minimum boundary the diagnostic will be considered failing. The second check: the TCM verifies the MMP power supply is not lower than a threshold for more than an amount of time after the engine cranking mode is finished plus a time delay. The third check: the TCM verifies the MMP power supply is not lower than a threshold for more than an amount of time after the engine cranking mode is finished plus a time delay only when the hydraulic pump is on for more than a time and the pump temperature is lower than a value.
