Actually, the sensor is part of the transmission valve body, inside the transmission. I haven't heard about the "RAM" reset, but there is a service bulletin that suggest reprogramming the TCM. Gotta get a new transmission :( my 03 g35 sedan is doing the same thing. 2nd time. It happened again because they forgot to put transmission fluid in. I can go over 40mph, rpm shoot through the roof especially uphill. If I press hard on the gas, it explodes forward, and then goes back down. Not good stuff. It’s the tranny :(
