2000 Toyota Avalon. Replaced Bank 2 Oil Control Valve with aftermarket, Doorman. On start up heard some clicking under the hood. Engine light was on. Along with P1354 (OCV bank 2 fault) P1663 was also up. Cleared all faults. Engine restarted and idles normal. No check check engine light. Hi speed test remains to completed.
Original problem was OCV valve Bank1. Replaced OCV with Toyota part. After less than 100 Km, Bank2 OCV fault started. Toyota wanted $140 plus tax for a Bank2 OCV and had to wait 2-4 days for delivery. Bought after market Doorman for half price and installed. Need to do some driving to see if problem is resolved.
